What does your program consist of?
At Oz Education, we provide stimulating indoor & outdoor learning curriculums that cater for each age group. Our curriculum is based on each child’s interests, strengths and skills. Each room has age appropriate documentation for each child as part of a group and as individuals.

Our educators use intentional teaching strategies to ensure each child can participate in a variety of beneficial experiences including those that are child led, spontaneous, teacher initiated, require future planning, extended project work, investigation and research, and those that embrace inclusive practices such as special occasions, cultural events, and connections with the local and wider community.  You can see further information about our program at our Curriculum page
Our Oz Education Advantage Preschool Program guides our educators about how to plan for and create appropriate experiences which will enhance the important skills that children need before starting Primary School. Please see our Preschool page for more info.

Are your centres ‘Accredited’?
Definitely, all of our centres undergo the Assessment and Rating process against the National Quality Standards by DEC – Department of Education & Communities, who are over seen by ACECQA. You can find out more about these authorities and their processes at the following links:

Do your staff undergo the ‘Working with Children Check’?
Yes, every staff member that is employed undergoes a ‘Working with Children Check’ by the NSW Government’s ‘Commission for Children and Young People’ under the Office of the Children’s Guardian.
What funding can I claim to help for childcare?
If you are considering enrolling your child in any of our centres, it is worth finding out what assistance you could receive in the form of fee subsidies from the Federal Government. You will be required to provide a CRN number from the Department of Human Services upon enrolment. If you have any questions please discuss with your Centre Director.
How can I get Child Care Benefit?
You can claim Child Care Benefit by completing and lodging a claim form at any DHS Service Centre, located at Centrelink Customer Service Centres and Medicare Australia shopfronts or by using online services.

Note: You need to claim for Child Care Benefit even if you are assessed at the zero rate so that you can also receive your Child Care Rebate.

If you receive Family Tax Benefit as a fortnightly payment, you can lodge a claim for Child Care Benefit by calling 13 61 50.

What is the Child Care Rebate?
The Child Care Rebate is NOT income tested and pays up to 50% of your out of pocket expenses per child, per year up to an annual cap of $7,500 (subject to passage of legislation).

Out of pocket child care costs are calculated after deducting any Child Care Benefit payments received.
