Easter Play-based Learning and Fun

Easter Activities and Celebration

In the lead-up to Easter, our early learners engaged in a variety of play-based learning experiences and celebrated with their families and friends.

Easter Family Celebrations

From our Sydney centres to our Central Coast Centres, Easter Family celebrations with our wonderful community were filled with laughter, creativity, and Easter-inspired fun. Our little learners enjoyed a colourful hat parade, Easter egg hunt, balloon making, face painting, sensory play, and Easter coloring. The highlight was a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny, bringing extra smiles and festive cheer! From giggles and sweet treats to photos with the Easter Bunny—it was truly a memorable day.

Easter Hat Parades

Our little learners looked adorable in their creative Easter hats, proudly parading them across all centres. They shared smiles, laughter, and the joy of giving and togetherness with their friends.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Egg Hunt was a joyful celebration full of color and chocolatey fun as children searched for colorful chocolate eggs. It reflected the spirit of Easter: new beginnings, kindness, and community.

Hopping into Easter Dancing

Our Easter Bunny showed off the best moves alongside our little learners. From sing-alongs to bunny-hop dance-offs, the Easter celebration was not only fun but also a great way to improve physical coordination, spark imagination, and build social confidence. Watch Instagram video

Sensory STEM Fun

This week, our early learners engaged in Easter-themed sensory play, using engineering skills and plastic eggs with playdough to build egg-tastic towers. They explored a fun tray filled with yellow rice, green shredded paper, colourful eggs, pom-poms, and bunny figurines, which supported fine motor development and encouraged curiosity and confidence.

Easter Egg Art

Our creative preschoolers had an ‘eggcellent’ time making Easter egg art! They showcased pattern recognition skills by choosing unique egg designs, using playdough to mold and shape their creations, exploring textures, shapes, and imagination.

Messy Easter Farm Play

Our preschoolers also enjoyed a messy sensory play with dirt, water, and Easter-themed extras like bunnies and carrots, creating farm scenes and adding water for extra fun.
