Oz Education Footscray is a warm, family-focused childcare and kinder centre on Empire Street, in the heart of one of Melbourne’s most vibrant inner-west suburbs, close to local schools, parks and public transport. We care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years. Our play-based early learning has a strong focus on getting children ready for school, so your child grows in confidence while you get on with your day.
Families from Footscray and across the inner west choose us for our caring, experienced educators, chef-made meals and all-inclusive fees, with nappies, sunscreen and daily essentials provided.
Victorian Government funded kinder: we’re a Kinder Tick approved centre. Our funded Three- and Four-Year-Old Kinder programs are led by qualified early childhood teachers, and families receive the Free Kinder offset on their fees. About our kinder program.
3-Day Guarantee: CCS-eligible families can now receive at least 72 hours of subsidised care a fortnight (about three days a week), whatever your work or study hours.

That’s after the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), and our fees include meals, nappies and sunscreen, so there are no extra costs.

Free Kinder. If your child is in our funded Three- or Four-Year-Old Kinder program, the Victorian Government’s Free Kinder offset comes straight off your fees and appears on your invoice. You don’t need to be eligible for CCS to get it. How Free Kinder works.

Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP). If you’re studying English through AMEP, your child can attend while you’re in class. About AMEP.

*After CCS, based on the 95% subsidy rate, which applies to a second or younger child aged 5 or under in eligible families. Your fees depend on your family income, hours of care and centre. Free Kinder offset amounts are set by the Victorian Government and depend on your child’s age and funded kinder hours.

Footscray is a melting pot of culture and creativity, and she is committed to bringing that same energy into our centre – creating spaces that are inclusive, inspiring, and safe.
