Children Act 2010 No 104
The Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Act 2010 No 104 sets a national standard for children’s education and care across Australia and explain the powers and functions of the state and territory regulatory authorities and ACECQA.
Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011 SI 653)
The Education and Care Services National Regulations (National Regulations) support the National Law by providing detail on a range of operational requirements for an education and care service including the legal obligations of approved providers, nominated supervisors, and educators.
National Quality Standard
The National Quality Standard (NQS) sets a high national benchmark for early childhood education and care and outside school hours care services in Australia.
