Oz Education Lidcombe Childcare and Preschool is conveniently located beside Lidcombe Public School, nestled within a welcoming residential neighbourhood. Open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, 52 weeks a year, the centre offers long day care and preschool programs for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
Our thoughtfully designed, purpose‑built facilities create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and grow. With the added convenience of on‑site parking, drop‑offs and pick‑ups are made easier and safer for families. We are proud to support our community with flexible, high‑quality early learning tailored to each child’s developmental journey.

Elly is the passionate and dedicated Centre Director at Oz Education Lidcombe, bringing over 15 years of experience in the early childhood sector and a deep commitment to supporting children’s growth and development. With 12 of those years spent at Oz Education, Elly has built strong connections and earned the trust of the local community and families.

Elly's Journey with Oz Education
Known for her warm, approachable nature and strong leadership skills, Elly fosters a welcoming and nurturing environment where children, families, and educators feel valued and supported. Over the past 15 years, she has held various leadership roles, including Educational Leader and Room Leader, and now leads as Centre Director.
With a solid background in early childhood teaching and centre management, Elly guides her team with a focus on high-quality education, safety, and individualised care. She works closely with families to build strong, collaborative partnerships, ensuring each child’s unique needs are understood, supported, and celebrated.
Elly is proud to be part of the Oz Education family, where she continues to inspire a love of learning through play-based programs, meaningful relationships, and a strong sense of community.

Platypus (0-2 years)
Our Platypus Program provides a warm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, secure and supported. Through gentle routines and meaningful interactions, our educators build strong bonds that support development, communication and emotional wellbeing.
Koala (2-3 years)
Our Koala Program supports toddlers as they grow in confidence, independence and curiosity. Through play-based learning, social interaction and structured routines, children begin to explore the world around them while developing early friendships and communication skills.
Kangaroo (3-4 years)
In our Kangaroo Program, children develop a deeper understanding of the world around them through hands-on learning experiences. We introduce foundational concepts in STEM, problem-solving and creativity while supporting physical, motor and social development.

I’ve put my son in Oz Education Lidcombe childcare centre for 2 years (he’s almost 3 now). I’d say the experience has been amazing. The educators are friendly and professional. My son has been well taken care of and he’s always in a happy mood every time I pick him up. I also receive very detailed updates via the app so I know what meal he had for the day, how long his nap is, including how many wet/soiled nappies. Childcare Funding Support For Families
The Government has introduced the 3 Day Guarantee, which provides all CCS eligible families with a minimum of 72 subsidised hours per fortnight, no matter your work, study or training hours.
Oz Education Early Learning Centres offer flexible hours – 9, 10, 11 or full day long daycare sessions to help minimise your out-of-pocket expenses for childcare and save further. If your family is entitled to a maximum subsidy of 95%, your fees could start from as little as $12 a day, depending on the centre.
