Selection criteria for teaching and child care jobs:

  • ACECQA approved early childhood teaching qualifications. Early Childhood Teachers in training and experience Diploma/Certificate III trained educators will be considered.
  • demonstrated application of the Early Years Learning Framework and knowledge of the early childhood education industry.
  • demonstrated experience working with children and knowledge of their development during their foundation years
  • strong ability to relate, interact and nurture children through their early learning journey
  • strong customer service skills with demonstrated ability to connect, partner and support families effectively
  • knowledge of early childhood teaching procedures, policies, compliance, and government regulations and standards including the National Qualify Standards
  • current First Aid Certificate, Working With Children Check and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • ability to communicate effectively at all levels including families and management
  • skills in curriculum documentation for future curriculum planning, recording, intentional teaching & reflective practice
  • dedication in completing the planned curriculum and the supporting learning guides and tasks
  • conflict resolution skills & understanding of related reporting requirements
  • technical experience with childcare-related management systems, preferably.
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to assist in various tasks as an enthusiastic, collaborative and dedicated team player.

Candidates applying for the position of a Chef/Cook are required to meet our job selection criteria.

You will be required to:

  • order, organize and coordinate food supplies and kitchen items.
  • prepare, cook and serve meals and snacks to children.
  • coordinate and cater for family events at the centre.
  • comply with correct food handling procedures
  • manage the health and hygiene of the kitchen as per regulatory and company guidelines is preferred.
  • be knowledgeable in early childhood nutrition, dietary guidelines, menu planning and allergies/intolerances will be an advantage.
  • have an understanding of ingredient substitutes for children with allergies, intolerances and cultural food requirements.
