Each Oz Education centre has a dedicated cook who prepares four wholesome meals daily – morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. Our meals are lovingly prepared in our well‑equipped kitchens using fresh, quality ingredients to support healthy growth and development. In addition, healthy eating is embedded into our curriculum to reinforce positive food habits from an early age.
Moreover, children learn about nutrition through hands‑on experiences – smelling, tasting and exploring ingredients, including herbs and vegetables grown in our very own gardens. Our cooks also engage with children to share knowledge about food preparation and healthy choices, encouraging curiosity and confidence around food.
We offer a rotating menu with four weekly meal plans, providing a wide variety of flavours, seasonal produce and cultural food experiences. Our menus are thoughtfully designed with reference to national dietary regulations and guidelines for children, ensuring each meal is nutritionally balanced and developmentally supportive. Furthermore, all our educators value the input of our families and work closely with them to accommodate:
