These Terms and Conditions apply to all Community competition and lucky draws organised by Oz Education Pty Ltd (APP-0006380005). They may be amended or varied from time to time by Oz Education Pty Ltd (ABN 34 601 104 509)
Who May Enter
The only persons who may enter and be awarded prizes are residents of New South Wales, Australia, who are not employees of Oz Education or the immediate family of such employees, with exception to a community draw that is open to only enrolled parents where an employee is an enrolled parent. “Immediate family” means spouse, parent, child or sibling, whether or not they live in the same household as the employee.
Conditions of Entry
By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these General Terms and Conditions and any Special Terms and Conditions appearing on the Oz Education website ozeducation.com.au specific to the particular competition. There is no entry fee is necessary to enter this competition.
Limitations on Entry
Participants may only enter the competition once, unless the Special Terms and Conditions specify otherwise. Only the first received entry will be valid if more than one entry is received from a participant.
How To Enter and Selection of Winners
A game of chance for all participants when they register via Oz Education website, or via any Oz Education participating events.
For competitions that are a game of skill: entrants are required to submit a creative answer to a question. Winners will be selected by a panel of representatives of Oz Education who, at their discretion, will select the best answer/s based upon originality, creativity, and adherence to any specified word limit. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. Oz Education’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every entrant. No correspondence will be entered into.
All prizes must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable, redeemable for cash or for resale. In the event that a prize is unavailable, Oz Education reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes unclaimed after a period of one month from the date of notification of the winner may be forfeited and used by Oz Education at the discretion of Oz Education.
Prize collection method will be listed on the competition page. For certain competitions, prizes will be emailed to the address submitted by the winner/s. No responsibility will be accepted by Oz Education for any lost or misdirected email. Photographic identification of the winner will be required (examples include drivers licence/passport/student card where photo included) to claim a prize.
In special situations, and subject to the absolute discretion of Oz Education, a winner may nominate a designated representative to collect a prize. The representative will be required to present written authorisation from the winner and photographic identification of both the winner and their representative.
Notification of Winners
All winners will be notified by phone or email. The winners for the Wiggles Concert Tickets draw will be notified on Wednesday 4 December and announced on Friday 6 December.
All entries become the property of Oz Education Pty Ltd. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Entries not completed in accordance with the conditions of entry or received after the closing date will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be disregarded. No responsibility is taken for late or misdirected email.
The personal information collected as part of the entry is collected to enable identification of the winner and for future marketing and promotional purposes. Your personal information will only be disclosed to the Oz Education for these purposes.
If for any reason a competition does not run for its duration due to a computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of Oz Education that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition, Oz Education reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Oz Education is not responsible for any:
(a) malfunction, delay occurring from network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website;
(b) failure of any email or entry to be received by Oz Education; nor
(c) any injury or damage to entrants or any other person related to or resulting from participation in the competition or down loading any materials in a competition.
Limitation of Liability
Oz Education makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, Oz Education is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by Oz Education or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner. This clause does not affect any rights a consumer may have which are unable to be excluded under Australian law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of Oz Education or its employees or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
Cancellation & Amendments
Oz Education also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control. Oz Education reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event if circumstances arise outside of its control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
