Community & Culture

Community visit - Fire Brigade Visits Oz Education

Community and Culture form a vital part of Oz Education. Throughout the year, we celebrate diverse cultures in our community and embed play-based learning experiences that support the three pillars of the Early Years Learning Framework – Belonging, Being, Becoming.

The aim of the program is to help young children learn more about their surrounding world when they understand how it came to ‘being’. Being aware of their community and culture helps our young learners to experience where they belong, and with whom by connecting with and contributing to their world. It also encourages them to ‘become’ active and engaged members of their community.

To find out how this program stimulate an interest in children to learn through play, watch the video below, or visit our Facebook or Instagram page.
