Oz Education Early Learning Centres is excited to be a part of the Australia Day celebrations at both Victoria Park, Camperdown and Tasker Park, Canterbury. We invite you to join us at the YABUN festival at Victoria Park, Camperdown on the 26th of January from 10am to 6pm, celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures on this festive day. YABUN is the largest single day Indigenous festival in Australia, drawing an audience of up to 15,000 people on Australia Day. It features a music event reflecting the wealth of Indigenous creative talent. It also delivers a current and informative cultural program, with discussions and speeches by recognised leaders, academics, politicians and artists. Our wonderful staff will be there supporting the local community and hope to share this festivity with the Oz Education family.
The Tasker Park festivities will also run from 10am to 3pm on the 26th of January, every year this special event brings the community together and it is with great pleasure for Oz Education to be a part of the Family Fun Day event. A talented array of performers will showcase a range of music and children can enjoy playing summer games such as sack races, tug-of-war, soccer and rugby. Oz Education will be holding an arts and craft stall on the day and we look forward to seeing some familiar faces in the crowd.
