What is Mathseeds?
Oz Education offers free access to Mathseeds, an award-winning, interactive online program, to help our Early Learners reach Preschool Mathematics outcomes. Mathseeds teaches children aged 3-5 core math and problem-solving skills through highly interactive and rewarding lessons. It combines highly structured lessons with fun and motivational elements that keep children interested in learning.
With Mathseeds, preschoolers can explore numbers, shapes, patterns, and measurements through interactive lessons, games, and activities. This hands-on approach not only makes learning enjoyable but also enhances retention and understanding. Each screen session is scheduled for 10 minutes to ensure supervisory and guided learning is provided to each preschooler. This personalised approach greatly helps our preschoolers extend learning and improve outcomes.
At Oz Education, your child will learn Mathematics through play-based and structured learning. Our educators observe, plan and share each child’s learning journey, progress and outcomes with parents using your child’s personalised digital portfolio. By mastering basic Maths skills, preschoolers can improve their problem-solving abilities and logical thinking. These skills are crucial for their overall cognitive development and will benefit them as they progress through their academic journey.
Furthermore, early exposure to Maths can instill confidence in young learners, setting them up for success in later years. As they become familiar with numbers and mathematical concepts, they are better prepared for more advanced topics in school.
