Health and Safety Update

New Childcare Centre

Oz Education Early Learning Centres have initiated an important Health and Safety Update to our existing policies with immediate effect.

Established in 1981, Oz Education Early Learning Centres has made every child’s health and wellbeing our highest priority for the past 40 years. All year round, our children keep fit and healthy in safe and nurturing environment. Our qualified early childhood educators undertake regular training on CPR, First Aid etc and go the extra mile to support your child’s health and wellbeing.

We have a strict health and safety policy to ensure our children receive the best of care. Our childcare centres comply with appropriate hygiene practices including hand washing, washing toys and other practices each day. We have hand sanitiser available on arrival and departure for all children and families as well as staff.

In addition to our current health and safety policy and compliance to the Health Department guidelines for Coronavirus (COVID-19) specifically for child care centres, new measures are now in place.

These new measures ensure strict hygiene practices upon arrival and departure at our centre’s concierge from mandatory hand sanitisation to temperature checks.

In addition, our centres will invest in replacing water bottles and some utensils with disposables where necessary.

While we love visitors, including incursions, they are now restricted.

All staff have been given an update including a list of protective and precautionary measures for their own health and safety when they are in and out of our centres.

The management of Oz Education would like to extend our appreciation to all our staff and parents who continue to work together in taking necessary action to ensure our environment is a safe and happy place where our children can play, grow, learn and thrive throughout their early years.
